How to book an Umrah appointment with Eatmarna? اعتمرنا
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, starting 4th Oct 2020 the kingdom will allow 6,000 domestic pilgrims daily to perform Umrah in the first phase. In the second phase, 15,000 domestic pilgrims will be allowed to perform Umrah per day starting from October 18. Visitors from outside Saudi Arabia will be permitted from November 1, when Umrah’s capacity will rise to 20,000 pilgrims per day.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a new mobile app “Eatmarna” “اعتمرنا” which enables domestic pilgrims to book an appointment to perform Umrah. Pilgrims will be allowed three hours to perform Umrah. The Etmarna application is linked with the ‘Tawakkalna’ app to verify the health condition of the permit applicant.
The Umrah application is available on both Android and iPhone Users. Download the application Eatmarna “اعتمرنا” to book an Umrah appointment from this link:

- Select Langauge on the screen after installing it.
- You will need your Iqama number and also Tawakkalna app credentials to login or start your account.
- Enter the verification code on the app, which received on your registered mobile number.
- Then, you will have to select Application Type (Citizens and Residents / Gulf / External Matamar).
- Fill the required information on the shown form accordingly to your ID/Iqama number, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number. The Mobile Number will start from 5xxxxx…., no need to put 0 before 5xxxxx…..
- Select the reason to book an appointment which includes Umrah Appointment or Worshipper Permit.
- Select Person, Date, and Time.
- You can also add companions from you from the “Add Companion” option.
- Finally, select centers for transporting or pilgrims gathering in Makkah.
That’s all. You have now successfully booked an Umrah appointment via the Eatmarna app.
To book appointments you don’t need PCR negative test because you can book it from this application. But to perform umrah maybe it needs. We will give update information when we get proper information for this. Please stay with us.
Eatmarna App is not available for Android now. Maybe it also available for Android later. If you have any friends who have iPhones then you can book umrah from his iPhone mobile. You also need to download and install and create an account of the Tawakkalna App to use Eatmarna App. Your children also can join you if you can add him/her as a Companion. In this video, I mentioned how to add a companion at 5:10. At first, create your account and click on the “Umrah permit” mentioned at 4:40 in this video. Then check on your name on the next page and click on the “Add Companion” button from the below-mentioned at 4:50 in this video. On the next page Select Companion Type, his/her Iqama or passport number, and other information and click add. If there show any message like “Internal Server Error” that means you need to try later or they don’t allow. After that click on Continue and select date and time and complete the process. I am not sure about the umrah process for who is under 18. But usually, there is no problem performing umrah because generally, we can see many children attend in the umrah every time. When I try to add a companion I get the error message ” USER IS NOT REGISTERED IN TAWAKKALNA PLATFORM”. Is it required to add each family member or is the permit issued in the registered users name for the entire family?
Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is required to add each family member to the TAWAKKALNA PLATFORM to add him as a companion from Eatmarna Applications. And to register him to Tawakkalna it needs to register his mobile number in Abshar.
