How can vaccinate visitor register and arrive in Saudi Arabia?

IMMUNE and Non immune Travelers ( except Saudi Citizens and exempted categories ) must fill out the Registration Immunization Information Form before traveling to the Kingdom through the following dedicated website: https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home to allow them to register their immunization data which will enable them to use TAWAKKALNA App. The vaccinated visitor who has a family visit visa or any other visit visa needs to register by this link https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/register-visitor?type=VaccinatedVisitor. Conditions of registration and arrival to Saudi Arabia for the vaccinated visitors:
1- Obtaining one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom, which are listed in the Vaccine Type field.

  • All guests must obtain and show proof of vaccination (vaccine certificates for COVID 19) with one of the flowing vaccines:
    • 2 doses of Pfizer BioNTech
    • 2 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca
    • 2 doses of Moderna
    • 1 dose of Johnson Johnson s Janssen
    Vaccine certificates are required to be certified by official health authorities from the country that provided the vaccination for incoming passengers.
  • Guests who have completed two doses of the following vaccines will be accepted :
    • Sinopharma
    • Sinovac         
    On condition of that, they have received an additional dose of one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom mentioned in the above paragraph.

2- The vaccination certificates are required to be attested by the official health authorities in the country of arriving travelers (the Ministry of Health or an authorized health authority).
3- The period between receiving the last dose (the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the first dose of a single dose vaccine) and leaving to the Kingdom should not be less than 14 days.
4- Bring the original vaccine certificate upon leaving the Kingdom.
5- Entering the information before departure to the Kingdom with a maximum of 72 hours.
6- Acknowledgment of the accuracy of the entered information and the correctness of the information will be verified upon issuance of the boarding pass and at the entry points, and failure to comply with these requirements makes it open to preventing entry to the Kingdom and the legal consequences.
7- Download the Tawakkalna app before arrival and register upon arrival.

  • Starting from 01 August 2021, the following conditions will be applicable to guests while using air transport in the Kingdom:
  • Immunization is mandatory to use air transport. As per the definition established by Public Health Authority (Weqaya), the immune person is an individual whose status in Tawakkalna shows either of the following:
    1. Those who have received two doses and have completed their vaccinations against COVID-19.
    2. Those who have passed (14) days after their first dose.
    3. Those who have recovered from COVID-19 in a period not exceeding (6) months.
  • All guests, except for guests under the age of (12) years, shall be immune as per their status in Tawakkalna to be accepted in domestic flights. Individuals whose status in Tawakkalna shows “not infected” will be no longer allowed to enter the airport and travel.

8- All arriving guests including the members of diplomatic missions accredited in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their families (except Saudi citizens and children below 8 years of age) must provide a negative PCR test certificate issued from a verified laboratory that does not exceed (72) hours from the time the test is undertaken until departing to the kingdom, and guests who did not provide the certificate will be denied from boarding the airplane.
9- All guests travelers who intend to visit the Kingdom (excluding Citizens, Residents and GCC Citizens) must have medical insurance that covers the costs of COVID-19 treatment in outpatient clinics, emergencies and hospitals.
10- No quarantine is required nor (PCR) after arrival for Immune Non-citizens coming from Non-restricted countries. All guests (Non-Vaccinated Visitor), except passengers under the age of (8) years, to undergo two PCR Tests, within (24) hours of arrival and on the 7th day of arrival. If the result is negative, they are permitted to leave quarantine on the 8th day and have medical insurance that covers the costs of COVID-19 treatment including the institutional quarantine for a period of (14) days.
